These four petite stockings have been developed with seasonal non-holiday themes. They teach fantasy stitches, leaf stitches, two-way Florentine, and the application of beads to canvas. The stockings can be worked from the comprehensive master graphs, or the stocking outline may be used and the student can create stitch compensation where the design meets the drawn outline. A bibliography and finishing instructions are also included in the instruction booklet. An optional kit for working the project is available. It contains 18-mesh mono canvas, shimmer ribbon floss, overdyed stranded silk, #4 metallic braid, stranded cotton, and beads. However, the student is encouraged to create through the use of stash materials.
