The ANG Needlepoint Discussion List
ANG-list is an e-mail list for the discussion of all aspects of needlepoint. An e-mail list is a group of people interested in the same thing -- needlepoint, in our case. When you join the list, you will start receiving e-mail messages from other people on the list. The members of the list determine what gets discussed. If it relates to needlepoint, this is the place to discuss it. Click here for more information about e-mail lists.
ANG defines needlepoint as "any counted or free stitchery
worked by hand with a threaded needle on a readily countable
ground." This is a place to ask questions about needlepoint. It
is a place to discuss classes, seminars, and other learning
opportunities. It is a place to discuss tools, patterns, threads,
materials, etc. Talk about the project(s) you're working on or the
project you just finished. If you have a question about how to do
a particular stitch, ask. If you've learned a neat new way to
attach a found object, tell us. If you're working on a painted
canvas and need a good stitch to use for hair, ask for
suggestions. If
you're not sure what's appropriate to post, the ANG-list
Rules gives you information on what is on-topic and what is not.
We've set up an easy-to-use Web interface for using the ANG_list. Click on the appropriate item in the list below to access this interface.

ANG_List e-mails are kept at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ANG_List/messages and can be looked up by message number, grouped by topic, or you can also do advanced searches for specific types of messages.
If you have questions or problems with the mailing list, e-mail postmaster@needlepoint.org for help.
