The Needle Arts Guild of Toledo will host its 34th Annual Judged Needlework Show on September 25th and 26, 2009 at the Sanger Branch of the Toledo Library, 3030 W. Central Avenue., Toledo, OH 43606. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Enjoy viewing hand-stitched works of art – many original. Viewing Times on Friday, September 25th are 10 am – 5 pm and Saturday, September 26th are 9 am – 4 pm. During viewing hours, the guild members will be demonstrating various needlework techniques.

Entry drop off is 4 pm – 8 pm on Wednesday, September 23rd, however, special arrangements may be made for mailed submissions by contacting the show registrar. Our judge this year is Sandy Rodgers.

As a community outreach project at the show, the guild will collect complete needlework kits (needles, threads, materials and instructions)to be sent to the Brooks Army Hospital at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. These kits are used by our veterans and their families while they are recovering at the hospital. Through July 2009, the Needle Arts Guild of Toledo has sent over 760 such kits to the hospital.
