Front Cover: This beautiful example of Or Nué metal thread embroidery was designed and stitched by Jane Zimmerman and taught at an ANG National Seminar in the past. The 4" x 5" floral butterfly was worked with silver metallic and Zwicky silk floss and shows how the design is established by couching a solid background of metal thread with silk floss in varying hues and values.

Back Cover: The samll gold fans, designed and stitched by Kay Stanis, may be finished as an ornament or name tag. These are exquisite examples of metal thread embroidery and will educate the stitcher with technical information for preparing to work and good stitching technique.
