| Description: |
Four
Lee designs were stitched on 5" x 7" mesh canvas, finished in a diamond-cross
shape, and backed with gold or silvery blue velvet. The crosses were stitched
using Kreinik Metallic #8 and #16 braids, DMC Metallic Pearl #5 and DMC Metallic Floss. Primary
stitches used included satin, continental, and Rhodes, with
continental for the inside back ground of the cross. The interior of the cross was stitched in Treasure Braid TR
80, and the background around the crosses was left open, using a running
stitch interspersed with stars in Kreinik Cable with DMC Metallic Floss. |
