Avalon, a counted geometric design, uses Vineyard silks, Splendor silks, Kreinik metallic braids, and beads. The center area is made up of double fan, sprat’s head (two sizes), eyelet, slanted Gobelin over metallic braid, straight, four-trip herringbone, and beads. The border, which is enhanced by an exposed metallic braid pattern, is made up of cross stitches in two Vineyard silks overlaid with Splendor Silk (self-couched and couched with very fine braid), eyelet, beading, cashmere, slanted Gobelin, waffle, alternating mosaic, couched diagonal, and slanted Gobelin over metallic braid. Color choices are available.
