The rich hues of riverside iris attract a passing dragonfly. Using the provided hand-dyed Congress cloth, metallic silk organza, and silk and metal threads, we will create an elegant memory of a late spring afternoon. Appliqué, long and short, couching, and stumpwork with beading are the techniques used to create the focal points. Students will be able to practice on the side of the canvas before working the motifs. Come delight in a flight of joy.
