22704 - Moroccan Sands

Moroccan Sands interprets centuries-old Islamic tile mosaic patterns in colors of the cool desert evening. You will use five different types of silk and silk/wool blends as well as metallics and paillettes in subtle desert shades of apricot, lavender blue, Chai brown, and gold to create your richly textured design. We’ll discuss both the creation of this design and the methods you can use to create your own geometric designs.

 Kit Fee/Contents: $115; 18-count eggshell canvas (design outlined), all threads and paillettes to complete the design, instructions, photo, and needles. Color choices available or student may pre-select the model color.
