Wishes is a composition of four individual designs coming together to complete a quilt-like creation. The multitude of threads and stitches will give the students an opportunity to explore so many possibilities. The emphasis will be on understanding the structure of the stitches and perfecting technique. Students will examine the effects of different colors on identical designs. This class will dig deeper into the design and challenge the students. The versatility of this design will enable students to stitch each Wish individually or combine them in different ways.

The availability of Wishes in a second colorway was not included in the brochure. Orna Willis now offers Wishes in a second colorway that celebrates the elegance of blues, greens, silver and gold. Although this combination has more of a winter feel, it doesn’t lack the WOW factor of the colorway shown in the Seminar brochure. Registrants for this class will be given a choice to choose either colorway in a letter that Orna sends to each student after they have registered for the class.
