Create your very own special talismans, each with rare and beautiful Larimar from the Caribbean, Swarovski crystal beads, and cleverly stitched scallop shell and starfish. The student will be able to construct the foundations for two clever pieces of neckwear art: a raised scallop shell and a starfish. Using #18 canvas, floss, pearl cotton, Kreinik braid, and polyfill, the student will create a delightfully realistic scallop shell and starfish atop the canvas base, as well as the background on which the shells rest.

Proficiency Level: Intermediate

Design Size: Each finished necklace is approximately two inches in diameter.

Kit Fee/Contents: $50; #18 canvas, pearl cotton, flosses, silks, polyfill, forms, beads, stones, needles, instructions, and color copy.
