If you love exquisite threads, fluid designs, and beautiful canvaswork, Indigo offers an opportunity to combine it all into a midnight-blue treasure. Students will use a variety of threads, including Trebizond, Petite Very Velvet, Pebbly Perle, Splendor, DMC pearl cotton, DMC stranded cotton floss, and four different Kreinik metallic threads, in student’s choice of gold or silver. Students will create textures using traditional and original stitches, including lotus blossom, dotted Swiss, interlocking leaf stripe, barred beetle, diagonal braid, rice, ming check. Students may also choose from several stitches and background effects.

Kit Fee/Contents: $105; Congress cloth with drawn design, all threads and metallics, needles, and a comprehensive bound instruction booklet including color photographs, charts, and diagrams.
