Stitch for Perspective is a notebook class exploring ways to create realistic canvas embroidery interpretation of a landscape — clear skies, clouds, ocean waves, calm waters, trees, bushes, fields, grasses, flowers, and a small structure. Explore stitches to achieve perspective using threads including Burmilana, Impressions, Rachel, Waterlilies, DMC cotton and pearl, Gentle Arts Sampler Thread, Gumnut Blossoms, Kreinik blending filament, Needle Necessities cotton, Spring II, Wool and Velour, Fuzzy Stuff, Pebbly Perle, Splendor, Thread Gatherer Silk n’ Colors, Sheep’s Silk, and Weeks Dye. Techniques include thread blending/shading, padding, layering, canvas appliqué, attaching beads, and needleweaving.
