Stitch of the Month
April 1999: Upright Cross
by Beth Robertson
This stitch is also called the Straight Cross. It is
another great stitch for small areas and provides great
texture. This stitch is a great substitute for Turkey
Work or French Knots. For less texture, use a finer size
thread or decrease the number of plies that would
normally be used on the canvas size.
