Stitch of the Month
May 1999: Rice

by Beth Robertson

This stitch is also known as William and Mary or Crossed Corners. It can be worked all in one thread or color, or use one thread or color for the large cross and another thread of color for the corner tie downs. This stitch can be used as a single motif, as a border, or in a large area. The thread and color possibilities are endless.
