  1. Step One – Using 4 plies of Soie d'Alger #2545, do the horizontal stitches as shown in the step one diagram below. Be sure to use a laying tool to keep the threads lying smooth and flat. By keeping your threads lying smooth and flat, they reflect more light, thus they will have a beautiful sheen.
  2. Step Two, the tent stitches shown in bold, are stitched with one strand of size 8 Kreinik fine braid #3270.
