Use 2 ply of threads #7_____ and 8_____. You can alternate colors or use
2 sections of one color on each side as I did. Study the photo. Notice how the
burgundy threads come up on the lower left, twist over and go down on the upper
right.
Come up at hole #1 and down into hole #2. Come up at hole #3, but, before you
go down into hole #4, slide your needle/thread under the 1-2 thread. From this
point on you will always come up in an odd numbered hole, slide your needle/
thread under and to the inside of the even numbered hole of that arm, cross over
the threads of the next arm then go down into the appropriate numbered hole.
Follow the numbers on this chart, then see next page for another chart.

You’ve completed the arms of the Walnetto. To finish with the square section
follow the numbers on this chart. See the large blue circle on the chart below. The
numbers inside it are the ones you just stitched from the previous chart. Find hole
#81 on the lower left side. The method of stitching is still the same. Come up at
hole #81, slide under that arm, cross over the next arm and go down into hole #82.
Follow the numbers and the same method to finish.
