Description: Ruth's daughter has always been interested in the early history of England, especially the time of Queen Elizabeth I. Ruth spent so much time with her in libraries and book stores, that she started to get interested as well. When she saw the painted canvas she thought it would be an interesting challenge.

Ruth really enjoyed the challenge of stitching this piece. She gets more out of a project when she refuses to take the easy way. She'd rather work on an alternative method.
