Designer: Marjorie Hunter designed the painted canvas and Amy Bunger designed the stitch guide or "recipe."
Location: These pieces are on display at the stitcher's shop when they are not on the road being taught in shops across the country.
Description: Marj and Amy have colaborated on many of her painted canvases. This set was started by popular demand for a nativity. The angel, Gabriel, is being stitched now and can be added to the set or used alone.

Amy enjoys experimenting with different techniques and loves to share her ideas with other stitchers in her Needle Pointers articles as well as in classes. The padding technique of using twisted tissue paper under the twisted cord of Mary's headdress is discussed on pages 15 and 16 of the November 1998 issue of Needle Pointers.
