Ginger Flurry
| Stitcher: | Lee Faulkner |
| Designer: | Janet Burnett of a Collection of Designs designed the canvas and Meredith Barnhill planned the stitches |
| Location: | At the shop where the stitcher works, except when it travels to needlework markets with Janet Burnett |
| Description: | Ginger is a painted canvas for which the designer
requested a stitch guide be written. After Meredith
Barnhill planned the stitches, Lee was the pilot stitcher
for the guide. When the time arrived to name this piece for the stitch guide, the snowman's top hat reminded Lee of Fred Astaire. Therefore his girlfriend had to be named Ginger. "Ginger can do everything Fred can do, except backward and with a broom!" |
