At a monthly chapter meeting, each person was given a
piece of canvas with a heart drawn on it. They were given
the challenge to design and stitch this heart and bring
it to the Christmas Party in December. Cheri took this
challenge to heart -- no pun intended. This is her first
try at designing. Not only did she choose the stitches
used but also the threads were her choice. Cheri had a
lot of fun working on this piece but can not explain to
you the learning experience she also had. At the
Christmas party that year there were several hearts
brought that were in progress, but she was the only one
who had completed the project. It was well accepted at
that time. |
