Lady Deborah Jean
| Stitcher: | Becky Worsham |
| Designer: | Chart by Catherine Coleman, color selection by Becky Worsham |
| Location: | Hanging in the stitcher's breakfast room |
| Description: | Becky purchased the chart not knowing that it was
Hardanger. At a later time, when she was selecting
threads, the salesperson commented that "you're
doing Hardanger?" Becky's reply was "No!"
The salesperson informed Becky that the piece was
Hardanger and thus she proceeded down the Hardanger path,
scary as it is. She bought the chart because she thought
it was a beautiful piece. She did change the colors to a
soft blush and framed the piece rather than making it
into a chatelaine as originally designed. The piece is backed with a moiré and the mat is wrapped in the same moiré. There is a thread line with a cluster of beads in each corner that adds interest to the mat and ties the piece and framing all together. |
