Description:

 I love Faberge eggs and have had the opportunity to see several in person.  When I found this piece at a shop in Chicago, I had to have it.  To me, a Faberge egg should be stunning, sparkly and breathtaking. When I saw this was designed for stitching in wool, I took the design to my shop in St. Louis, The First and Last Stitch, where they helped me pick out wonderful fibers and suggested Silk N Ivory for the background.  This made the egg stand out beautifully.
