was a class project taught by Marnie Ritter.
I adore Marnie both as a person and a wonderful teacher.
This piece was the vehicle for a new shading technique.
It was challenging and a great learning experience.
My mother and I share a love of flowers. This was my gift to her for her 80th birthday. She lives in central Iowa and at age 83 is a prolific, beautiful painter of china. We are each very appreciative of the time spent on each other’s projects. I treasure her painted china gifts, and it was a joy to be able to give her something special that I had made. |
