I was intrigued by the 16-point star and the way the layers of threads gave depth to the piece. Using a delicate gold thread to stitch the Sprat’s Head over the black Frosty Rays padding added more dimension and depth. I used the aqua blue Neon Rays as the foundation for the four diamonds to give the piece a bit of punch. This is a very soothing piece to look at. But once you look, you are caught in the maze of intricate stitches. |
