Description: |
My burning love for cats immediately drew me to this wonderful canvas and I knew that I absolutely had to stitch it! At one time in my life, I was lucky enough to be allowed to share my home with a cat named Peanut that looked just like this one, and all the cat lovers out there understand that! She often slept that way in the windowsill, especially if the sun was shining in. I anxiously waited four months for the arrival of this canvas. With thread and needle in hand and inspired by David McCaskill, we analyzed this beautifully painted canvas as we brought this special cat to life. This canvas is so well painted and so realistic of “cat-titude” that I was almost a little sad when it was finished. I enjoyed every stitch as I placed them all so lovingly while I reminisced about this wonderful cat that once shared my life. I brushed her fur as I would have brushed her if she were still with me. |
