I took this class because I wanted to learn about goldwork, and I wanted to take a class from Michele Roberts. This piece was quite a challenge because I had never done any goldwork before this class. I did change the background and border color from opal to a pale peach, which worked better in my home. For those stitchers who have not tried English goldwork, I highly recommend taking a class. It will broaden your stitching knowledge and techniques. I felt very rewarded when I completed this piece, and I am very proud of it. |
