This piece is currently displayed in a glass cabinet in my solarium where I keep my unprotected seasonal pieces. During the month of October, it will be the focal point of the centerpiece on my kitchen table. |

I wanted a Halloween candy bag. When I saw this canvas, I thought it would be cute to have the witch standing on her broom, falling into the bag full of candy corn. The plaid coordinates with the lining of the candy bag and the coordinating pillow. It was very satisfying to design and stitch this piece. The companion piece to the candy bag is a "sandwich" pillow (a series of three pillows tied together with bows on the outer edges of the first and third pillows in a pattern like that of a sandwich). The pieces are a great duo for a seasonal centerpiece. |
