 It is hanging on my front room wall beneath a feather design by a Taos Indian artist.

Description:

I stitched this piece for three reasons:
  • I love the Southwest and its designs.
  • I like the rich greens in the background clouds.
  • It struck me that the shape of the white clouds is the Hopi symbol for rain.
The background tent stitches use Rainbow Gallery Silk Elegance thread. The foreground butte uses Rainbow Gallery Overture.
