I used Julie Sackett's original colors of turquoise and purple on black 18-count canvas. These two colors can be very difficult to match, but Julie did an excellent job of coordinating the overdyed thread, silks, metallics and beads. I especially enjoyed the combination of stitches used, which gave the kimono texture. |
