Imperial Topaz

The Atlanta Chapter has spent this past year studying color.  One of our first projects was "Imperial Topaz".   We were challenged to change the colors from Susan's original design.  It was a real challenge for me, as I had never before changed "all" the colors in a design.  The starting point was to pick an overdyed thread with at least three colors; but none of the threads really appealed to me. I ended up picking an overdyed thread with two colors and then adding the third color.  I was very pleased with the piece when I finished and it has given me the courage to change a lot more colors in future projects.
