Stitcher's Comments: This 14"x18-1/2" Oriental Cranes Kimono on 18 count canvas was a challenge I’ve never stitched a canvas with such large areas before.  I tried to give the piece a horizontal motion to look like the cranes are flying off the canvas.  For the background, I added a diagonal pattern to simulate oriental brocade.  I used Rachel, pearl cotton, red Kreinik braid and Soie Crystal.
