Current Workshop by Mail: Carrots by Jennifer Riefenberg

The registration for Carrots will run from February 1 until April 30, 2018.

Carrots emerge in bright, warm colors from the summer earth. Use the new DMC memory thread to add dimension to the carrot tops and add some sparkle with bead embellishments. Learn new stitches, explore new threads, and enjoy working with exciting and unique color combinations.

Proficiency Level: Intermediate

Design size is 5” x 7” on 10” x 12” congress cloth.

Jennifer is an accomplished needleartist, meshing her love of the arts into new and varied mediums.  She loves teaching, both skills and the pure love and joys of art and creativity.  Jennifer holds certifications through National Academy of Needlearts (NAN) as a Teacher/Designer and Judge. Jennifer serves on the board of NAN as the Assistant Director of Judging.   She teaches at national, regional, and local seminars.   Jennifer has won numerous awards for her needleart and other artwork.  She has a piece accessioned into the permanent collection at the Gregg School of Art & Design at North Carolina State University.

Is there any way to get an idea of the supply list before registering, so that we can know what threads are needed? I have no idea if this will be a costly project or if I can use threads from my stash. Will there be a kit available? Thank you.
