CyberWorkshop:  Frozen Reflections, by Lorene Salt, submitted by Barbara Evans, Chair

Instructor: Lorene Salt
Proficiency Level: Advanced Intermediate
Registration:  January 1 2018 - February 28 2018
Class Begins: May 1 2018
Length of Class: 6 months
Cost: $60 for instructions posted to a Yahoo! Group
Ground Material: #18 Mono Canvas
Design Size: 8" x 7 3/4"

Frozen Reflections was inspired by an unpublished 1920-era Liberty Magazine cover. This design explores the many faceted faces of ice. Students will learn a variety of laid filling stitches and stitch combinations that form intricate patterns. Stitches include the wave pattern, a quad rectangular Jessica, and the double fan stitch. Techniques include Tramé and Trellis, Diaper Patterns, and Laid Fillings. The piece is further embellished with Swarovski crystals, pearls, bugle, and seed beads. This class will appeal to those who want to expand their knowledge of canvaswork stitches and techniques while enjoying the experience of stitching a piece of wall art.

Do look at the link that produces a warning message about possible scam use and decide whether readers would continue on to order this design. If the comment area could accept a screen shot, I would have included the message.

Can you supply some information on the type of threads required for this project? How easily accessible are the embellishments needed? Thanks.
