Designed to teach the overall effect that simple stitch combinations and composite stitch combinations can create. This square utilizes reversing Amadeus stitches, eyelet stitch variations, cross stitch variations, partial Rhodes stitches, and combinations of stitch patterns. Variations of the above listed stitches are also used. Bead attachment methods will be discussed. Participants are encouraged to select materials from their personal thread collections and see how different threads produce different effects. However, an optional kit which includes #18 white canvas, a selection of threads, metallic braids, and beads is available.
