The Dressmaker’s Folly tells the story of … Lilly, the dressmaker, who was working late one night. She saw some brightly colored fabrics lying about and, on a whim; she wrapped them around the dressmaker’s form. She thought she would just have some fun and added the hat, scarf, and necklace. This is an intermediate level piece designed primarily for fun, but also, you will learn how to use line and texture to enhance a design and study perspective in a piece. You will learn over ten stitches including a padded appliquéd embellishment technique for the pin cushion. The finished piece on 18 count white mono canvas is approximately 8” x 14”.
